Abby Hoicowitz is an accomplished writer, photographer, designer, and technology professional in Toledo, Ohio, with 17 years of experience in print and online media and more than four years of experience as a top producing Event Support Specialist for Ticketmaster (Live Nation). She is fiercely devoted to diversity in all of its implications, advocating for authenticity, inclusiveness, and an open-minded approach to life.

Hoicowitz’s enthusiasm for pop culture developed at an early age, erupting in college with the rediscovery of Aretha Franklin’s greatest hits. During these formative years, she blended a gamut of talents, ranging from the scientific to the creative, into a Bachelor’s degree in architecture from Miami University and graduate studies at the Ohio University E.W. Scripps School of Journalism.

A meticulous and insightful writer, she spent more than a decade as a marketing and content leader for numerous respected organizations and publications. For four-and-a-half years, she worked with the Ticketmaster Client Support team to exceed client (venue) satisfaction and successfully deploy ticketing and experiences for millions of live entertainment fans.

Today, Hoicowitz is the Marketing, Social Media, and Communications Manager for Jewish Federation of Greater Toledo. She finds joy in the melody of a perfectly crafted sentence, the beauty of the Detroit skyline, the thrill of seeing her favorite musicians live, the gratification of helping fellow fans experience a once-in-a-lifetime event, and the satisfaction of contributing meaningful and enduring content. She wears her empathy on the sleeve of her favorite concert t-shirts.
